The Gasparilla Music Festival is Tampa Bay’s signature annual music festival, and a major community influencer that supports and promotes local musicians, vendors, and music education efforts.

Challenge

The marketing team at GMF understood the power of social video content and asked us for our help in the strategy and execution of their social marketing goals. They had more than five years worth of video content to work with, and luckily we’d been working with them for just as long so we’d developed a robust, organized, and searchable video library of content to pull from.

Solution

We worked with the team at GMF to develop a social video strategy that supported their main messaging and marketing goals, took advantage of social marketing trends, and leveraged the years of content they had captured. We were able to efficiently assemble post-ready video montages that supported festival activities and larger marketing goals. We created short, shareable, and engaging video content to highlight things like Kids Fest, Craft Beer & Local Food, Yoga, and the Silent Disco, and concepted weekly “Throwback Thursdays” and “Feel Good Fridays.”
